Free Introductory Class for Capoeira in Poreč
The Youth Association Urban Subcultural Base – USB Poreč is opening a new capoeira workshop, which combines fighting, dance, acrobatic movement and rhythm, all with infectious Brazilian music.
Registration for the free introductory class lasts until the end of January and is open to all ages, children and adults.
Under the guidance of a licensed leader, participants will learn basic movements, kicks and escapes through warm-up, a little acrobatics, a lot of play, movement techniques, pair work, general and specific physical preparation.
Capoeira is a unique martial art originating from Brazil. At the same time, it is a sport and a fascinating dance, equally attractive to watch and practice, useful for coordination and self-defense. It is one of the fastest growing movement practices in the world, which, in addition to fun, provides numerous benefits. It improves muscle flexibility, breathing and concentration, strengthens joints, enables the release of emotions and control of aggression, encourages self-expression and teaches improvisation.
Those interested in a free introductory lesson can register and get all the information by phone at +385 95 517 6388 (Vale) or by using the QR code on the poster. After the introductory class, groups will be formed and training time will be determined. Capoeira will thus become a new content of USB, along with the already well-known workshops of contemporary and jazz dance and the recently introduced break dance, small circus and dance on silk.
