The Citizens of Poreč Entered 2023 Cheerfully and Dancing with Two Events

The central town square in Poreč brought together numerous Poreč residents and guests for one of the traditionally biggest New Year’s celebrations.

The crowd was entertained by the legendary Croatian rock group Prljavo kazalište, which performed in Poreč for the New Year’s Eve again after 15 years. Hit after hit from their career, in a real concert atmosphere, where the hits of Prljavci were sung in unison, with the lights from mobile phones, the celebration passed in a fun, dignified and cheerful tone.

The mayor of Poreč, Loris Peršurić addressed his fellow citizens with a traditional toast at midnight. Peršurić wished them the best New Year’s wishes.

At the same time, on Matija Gupca Square, a funky welcome with DJ DeJviDa gathered hundreds of visitors who, with confetti and good wishes, had fun until the wee hours of the morning.
