Poreč: Invitation to Connect to Optical Network for Faster Internet Access

The City of Poreč is inviting all interested citizens and business entities to express their interest in connecting their property to the optical network for better and faster internet access. Applications can be sent to the email address [email protected].

To express interest in the construction of an optical connection, the following information needs to be provided:

• The address where the connection needs to be made in the format: street name and number, and city/town
• Name and surname, mobile contact number, and the number of residential/business units in the property.

A list of addresses covered by the project is available on the City of Poreč website.

The construction of the state-of-the-art optical network providing internet access is a project co-financed by the European Union, which will be implemented until the end of 2023. During the project’s implementation, connections to this optical infrastructure are free of charge, and citizens are invited to express their interest by emailing the above-mentioned address.

The project is co-financed by the European Union, and the new optical network is being built by Hrvatski Telekom d.d. in collaboration with the City of Poreč and other local government units.
