Charge and Explore: Poreč’s Latest Addition for Eco-Friendly Travelers

The installation of electric and hybrid vehicle charging stations has been completed at the Large City Parking Lot in Poreč. A total of two stations with four charging points have been installed, offering fast and reliable charging for electric vehicles. Additionally, two more stations with four points each are planned to be installed by the end of the year, further expanding the infrastructure and enhancing service accessibility.

Each charging station has a power output of 22kW per point, along with user-friendly visual guidance through screens and colored LED elements. The control cabinet facilitates easy charging using the parking ticket as an input.

Here’s how you can easily charge your electric vehicle:

1. Park your vehicle in the designated electric vehicle charging spot.
2. Scan the barcode on the parking ticket at the charging station. If you’re a subscriber to the closed parking lot, enter your vehicle’s registration number.
3. From the menu options, select the charging point where you’ll charge your vehicle.
4. Choose the option “Start Charging” to initiate the charging process.
5. Charging ends by selecting the option “Stop Charging.”

Charging fees are calculated according to the current pricing list and can be paid at automated or manual payment counters. The charging service includes a fee for electricity consumption during charging, an hourly parking fee, and a fee if the vehicle remains parked after charging.

With these new charging stations, Poreč is taking significant steps towards promoting sustainable transportation and facilitating the transition to electric vehicles.
