Vinistra 2025 in Poreč Set to Impress Wine Lovers Worldwide

Poreč is ready to host the 31st edition of Vinistra, the premier wine and gastronomy festival, from May 9 to 11, 2025. Held in the spacious Žatika Hall, Vinistra 2025 promises an unforgettable experience for visitors, gathering 130 exhibitors, including 90 leading winemakers.
Exciting Innovations and a Record Number of Exhibitors
At the recent announcement in Zagreb, Luka Rossi, president of the Istrian and Kvarner Winemakers Association, highlighted the festival’s ongoing innovation. This year introduces a new judging system inspired by prestigious competitions like Decanter and Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. For the first time, champions in the žlahtina and Momjan Muscat categories will be crowned.

Representatives from Croatia’s Ministry of Agriculture emphasized the importance of boosting local food production, highlighting Croatia’s 130 indigenous wine varieties. Industry experts stressed the role of marketing and quality improvement in securing global recognition. Poreč’s Mayor, Loris Peršurić, underlined Vinistra’s impact on tourism, linking it with booming restaurant and hotel bookings across Istria. Emil Perdec from Plava Laguna pointed out that Vinistra has grown into a vital meeting point for hoteliers, sommeliers, and gastronomy experts.
