The Tunalicious Festival Poreč 2024 is almost here. From September 9 to 15, the town will be a haven for seafood lovers. The festival promises a rich culinary experience centered around the Adriatic queen—tuna. It features three distinct programs: Tuna Restaurant Week, Tunalicious Street Food Festival, and Spinnaker Gourmet Stage. Each event offers something unique for food enthusiasts.
Tuna Restaurant Week: Savor the Best Tuna Dishes in Poreč
From September 9 to 15, Tuna Restaurant Week offers a unique opportunity to taste creative tuna dishes at over twenty selected restaurants throughout Poreč. This week-long celebration of this seafood delicacy will feature diverse menus tailored to delight every visitor. A special highlight will be on September 14 at Restaurant Divino, where guests can witness tuna filleting, carpaccio and sashimi preparation, all paired with Tomaz Wines.
Restaurants like Cardo, Konoba Ćakula, Hrast, and Casa Manzolin will serve up tuna steaks in various combinations, while modern tuna poke bowls will be available at Casa Manzolin by Sv. Nikola and Divino. Other delectable options include tuna tataki, tuna ragout, KOI buzara, tuna tartare, and even tuna goulash with homemade tagliatelle.
Tunalicious Street Food Festival: Street Eats with a Tuna Twist
From September 12 to 14, the Poreč waterfront will host the Tunalicious Street Food Festival. Here, food vendors will present innovative street food versions of tuna dishes. Valamar will offer tuna ceviche tacos, tuna tandoori skewers, and the Tunalicious burger from their food truck. Meanwhile, Tunaholic Fish Bar will showcase their popular creations like the Tunaholic burger and Hot Tuna Hedonist. Street Food by Lukas and the Taika team will also impress with their mouthwatering offerings.
Spinnaker Gourmet Stage: Exclusive Dining Experience
On September 12, the Spinnaker Gourmet Stage will host one of Croatia’s most renowned chefs, Zdravko Tomšić, at the fine dining Spinnaker restaurant. His specially curated five-course menu, paired with Kadum wines, will feature exquisite dishes such as Tuna Tataki, peach risotto, and Otoro tuna slices, finishing with a decadent chocolate nemesis.
Entertainment & More: Live Music and Big Game Fishing
In addition to its culinary delights, the Tunalicious Festival offers a lively entertainment program. From September 12 to 14, the Poreč waterfront will come alive with performances by popular artists like TBF, Silente, Zdenka Kovačiček, and S.A.R.S. The festival also hosts TunIstra, an international big game fishing competition where visitors can marvel at catches weighing over 100 kilograms.
