Porečki delfin 2024: Everything Set for the 23rd Edition in Poreč
Porečki Delfin 2024, one of Croatia’s longest-running swimming marathons, is set to begin at Valamar Parentino Beach in Poreč. The sports festival, organized by the Sports Association of Poreč, promises a wide array of activities for participants of all ages.
Today’s Highlights: Aquathlon and SUP Regatta
The festival kicks off with two exciting events today: the aquathlon and the SUP regatta. The aquathlon, a combination of running and swimming, starts at 5 PM, followed by the SUP regatta at 6 PM. Interested participants can register up to 30 minutes before each event at the registration desk on Pical Beach.
Water Polo Tournament Brings International Teams
Visitors can also enjoy the international water polo tournament starting at 12 PM. Teams from the USA, Luxembourg, Hungary, and the local Poreč Water Polo Club will compete, showcasing thrilling matches on Pical Beach.
Main Event: Porečki Delfin Marathon
The festival’s centerpiece, the Porečki Delfin marathon, takes place tomorrow and attracts over a thousand swimmers each year. As Croatia’s largest recreational swimming marathon, it allows participants to register either online or in person on the day of the event starting at 6:15 AM. The first race begins at 9 AM, and participants can start anytime until 2:30 PM.
Porečki Delfin 2024 promises an adrenaline-packed weekend, offering something for everyone, whether competing or cheering on the swimmers.
