The renovation works on the headquarters of the Poreč Native Heritage Musem (Zavičajni muzej Poreštine) began last fall, and the first results are now visible after the scaffolding was removed from the Decumanus. The main facade of the Sinčić Palace, facing the main old town street, has been unveiled in a new look after months of work. The facade has been completely restored, and conservation-restoration works have been carried out on the stone elements. The restoration of Sinčić Palace is being carried out in accordance with conservation guidelines, with Kapitel d.o.o. from Žminj as the contractor and Istra Inženjering d.o.o. from Poreč overseeing the work.

This is a project that will not only restore the facade of Sinčić Palace but the entire baroque complex, including the adjacent servant house and former agricultural building, which now houses a catering facility – a total of 1,700 square meters of facade. The works are progressing according to plan, with the expected completion of the facade works by the end of June. Additionally, the carpentry of Sinčić Palace will also be renovated during the year, continuing the large investment cycle in the old town of Poreč.
