New Anchor System in the Eastern Part of the Poreč Marina
The restoration of part of the anchor system of marina in Poreč was completed, which aimed to ensure maximum safety of the vessel’s mooring.
In the eastern part of marina in Poreč, the anchor system was completely replaced, which included the removal of the old and the installation of ten new reinforced concrete anchor blocks. The 110-meter long main anchor chain was replaced, new auxiliary chains and cleats and other necessary system elements were installed. After the work was completed, all vessels were moored to the new anchor system.
The total amount of this investment was around 20 thousand euros without VAT.
As a continuation of the investment in 2023, underwater works are planned in the western part of the water area, after which marina in Poreč would have a completely new anchor system.
In addition to the aforementioned repairs, three old olive trees and evergreens were planted on the raised green areas in front of the reception of Poreč marina so that the marina area remains beautifully decorated throughout the year.
