In a collaborative effort with local residents and the Anka Butorac Neighborhood Council, the Department of Municipal Infrastructure of the City of Poreč has successfully completed the installation of eco-friendly public lighting along the seaside promenade, stretching from the marina to Villa Club.

The new lighting system ensures that numerous pedestrians can now enjoy a safe and uninterrupted stroll along the scenic coastline, from the marina to the City Beach and further towards Brulo, during the evening hours.

The project involved the installation of seven state-of-the-art LED lamps that comply fully with the existing legal regulations and incorporate the latest lighting technologies specifically designed for walkways. These energy-efficient LED lights not only provide enhanced visibility but also minimize environmental impact.

Following the completion of the summer season, the Department of Municipal Infrastructure plans to continue investing in the improvement of communal infrastructure across all neighborhoods in response to the expressed desires and needs of the local residents and representatives of the neighborhood councils.
