This year, Poreč proudly marks 80 years of freedom with an exciting program designed for both locals and visitors. From April 27 to May 9, the city will buzz with concerts, dance performances, and festive gatherings, offering something for everyone.

Poreč Celebrates 80 Years of Freedom and City Day

The heart of the celebration will take place on Wednesday, April 30, at noon in the historic Istrian Assembly Hall. During the ceremony, Poreč will honor outstanding citizens for their contributions to the community.

Adding to the festive spirit, a new Friendship Park will open at Materada Beach, dedicated to the twinned city of Noisiel. This follows the tradition of parks honoring Prague 6, Poing, Segrate, and Monselice — favorite spots for picnics and relaxation among visitors and locals alike.

May Day: A Festive Labor Day on Poreč’s City Beach

On May 1, the City Beach becomes the place to be. From 10 AM to 6 PM, visitors can enjoy live performances by Koktelsi, Baredinesaurusi, and Blues Brajdersi, alongside a rich culinary offer and the beloved free bean stew.
